Theater solution joins Besam customer reference line-up

Besam’s low-energy SW100 swing door operator is proving popular with health care facilities, business offices and residential buildings where its near-silent operation contributes to a comfortable, quiet atmosphere for users. But last year our colleagues in the UK found another ideal application for it; the lobby doors of a popular theatre in Chatham, Kent, UK.

Noise from previously installed operators tended to disturb both performers and patrons of the intimate 960-seat venue. But the highly-intelligent and nearly noise-free SW100 is allowing the theatre to offer patrons the convenience of automatic doors without any adverse affect on the performances or the audience’s enjoyment of the shows.

Besam UK’s solution for the Central Theater has been developed into a customer reference case for Besam websites, where it highlights the versatility of the product in public buildings.
